How did you meet?
We are high school sweethearts, we met in our sophomore year and have been together for over 10 years. We met at a high school football game through mutual friends and hit it off immediately.
When did you know they were the one?
When our sense of humour clicked when we met at a football game, and after we became best friends for a while. We were “best friends” before finally confessing our love. I knew a few months in it was more than a friendship.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
He is very intelligent, loving, and thoughtful
Who proposed and how?
He proposed in Mexico when we took the trip to celebrate our graduation from Sonoma State University in 2019.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
I saw a picture on Pinterest and kept thinking about it. I made it my screensaver. I kept looking and nothing compared. I tried on so many dresses, and none compared. I finally drove to a location that had MWL dresses and tried her on. I fell in love and knew immediately I had to have her. My mom is not very supportive and gave me trouble, but I was insistent and fought so hard to get her. I was supposed to wear her in 2020, but due to the pandemic I wore her in 2021. She was such a huge part of my wedding day, she represented so much and it meant everything to wear Stevie.
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
The best moment at the wedding was dancing with all of our friends and family on the dance floor. Such a blast.
Any standout vendors?
My photographer Eva Moskalets Photo was AMAZING- her business is called “sweet stills”, and my florist was absolutely lovely, her business is called “Floret Beginnings” and her name is Mary.
