How did you meet?

We met at a friends leaving party, we didn’t speak at all that night but Andrew told his best friend on the way home that he would marry me (he even put this moment into his vows). He reached out to me online and we went on a group date. After that night there weren’t many nights we spent separately.

When did you know they were the one?

Straight away! We were in inseparable from our first date.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Tamara’s favourite: caring, determined, loyal

Andrew’s favourite: warm, honest, trustworthy

Who proposed and how?

Andrew proposed on the beach under the palm trees. Just the two of us and our two close friends.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

From the moment I put the dress in I knew it was the one! I was a bit insecure about finding a dress that would suit my body shape but the dress fit my body perfectly, made me feel confident and was exactly what I was looking for.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

My favourite moment at our wedding was our first dance, it was something we were both nervous about because we are quite introverted. But it is very personal and full of love. We had our bridal party join in towards the second half of the song and as soon as our song finished everyone jumped on the dance floor and we all danced and sang together. It was a moment full of joy and love!

What were your favorite details?

My favourite detail was asking my mum to be the celebrant at our wedding, this made us both feel so comfortable throughout the ceremony. I love that we both wrote our own vows! And our venue choice was also perfect, it fit our personalities to a T!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Go with the flow on the day. You’ve planned everything perfectly, so just enjoy every moment as it comes! Do everything for yourself and your partner, it’s your day!
