How did you meet?

Martin and I met via Tinder, however, we had a beautiful first date getting coffee in South Bank Brisbane where we spent hours just chatting and getting to know each other.

When did you know they were the one?

I dont know if I had a moment where I realised but the more time we spent together the more I realised I didn’t see my life without him in it.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Green eyes
Tanned skin

Who proposed and how?

Martin proposed to me on my 30th Birthday – we were supposed to be in NZ on a ski trip however all our plans got cancelled due to covid so he instead took me for a little surprise getaway the day after my birthday and to my surprise proposed that evening after a wonderful dinner together.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Brisbane Albion boutique, I tried the Lola on for the first time it felt amazing but I then fell in love with the cut of Harlow. Hayley the Brisbane boutique Manager then offered for the Harlow to be custom-made in the Lola material which meant I could have my dream dress. I was anxious as I wasn’t able to see the final product until it was delivered to me but the minute I opened the box I knew it was perfect.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

It all went so fast but I would have to say standing in front of my then-partner and listening to him say his vows – there was a moment of realisation that this was all happening and it felt magical.

What were your favourite details?

Everything about my dress, the cut, the straps the buttons and low cut back and of course my pearl veil.
It was so nice to see all the planning all come together so well and exactly how I had imagined it all (Florals, the guest favours…)

What advice would you tell other brides?

Everyone tells you but honestly, the day goes so quickly try to find time to be present and in the moment. My husband and I also had a separate table at the reception for just the two of us and honestly, it was so great, it gave us some time just to be together and I would recommend this as it’s such a full-on day it can seem like your so busy chatting to everyone that you don’t have a moment together.
