Sheyanne + Logan

How did you meet?

I remember seeing Logan at the gym a number of times and thought to myself he is super cute! One day he was talking to a mutual friend, so I made my move. We had a great conversation and I later slid into his DM’s since he did not make the first move. We are both bodybuilders, so the gym has been a big part of our relationship since day one… literally!

When did you know they were the one?

I knew very early on that Logan was the one. We were very drawn to one another. He had great banter and our morals aligned. I think the moment I knew he was going to be more was on one of our first dates we went to a furniture store just to look around. He did not have awful taste despite his bachelor pad at the time. I did get the key to his apartment after week two and moved in after 3 months and got a dog! So, you could say we moved quickly!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Logan and I are opposites, and this has to be my favorite thing about him. He thinks about things from a logical point of view and brings me back down to earth. He is incredibly supportive! I got an offer for my dream job days before our wedding. This job does have me travel a lot. This means we do spend some time apart. He knows I love what I do. Lastly, he forces me to be a better me. He shows me a different way to do life. He pushes me out of my comfort zone.

Who proposed and how?

I was away on a girl’s trip for the week in San Antonio, Texas. Us girls went to the river walk to take pictures. When I turned around, he was right there. I did pull a Kim K… I was so excited I grabbed the ring out of the box and put the ring on myself! OOOPS (:

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with my dress at Unbridaled in Houston, Texas. I had been dress shopping a number of times. I actually said yes to another dress first, but it just didn’t feel right. So, I went back and tried on Penny who was my number two. I told myself I did not want strapless but figured why not try it on. When I put it on… I knew right away. I cried which if you know me you know I do not do. The person helping me was like “WOW I did not think we would get you to cry”

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The best moment was seeing Logan’s face as I walked down the aisle. I wish I could re live that moment!

What were your favourite details?

We had little napkins that had fun facts about us.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Relax and soak in that day. It really does go to fast!

Any standout vendors?

My photographer is amazing! We did a post wedding shoot which is where some of the pictures are from. My wedding day it rained so she offered up a free photoshoot so I could get more pictures in my dress.
