How did you meet?

We actually met 3 times! Our friends in university kept introducing us and we both kept forgetting! Finally, the third time stuck!

When did you know they were the one?

he makes me laugh whenever I’m mad.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner

Caring, ambitious and supportive

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Ceremony Bridal! I’ve always been obsessed with scallops and when I tried it on it was just perfect

Who proposed and how?

He did! On our 7 year anniversary in the Dominican Republic

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

Giggling with my husband during our vows. When we’re on our own we can be super serious, but together we giggle like little kids constantly.

What surprised you most at or about your wedding?

How calm I was, I’m usually so high strung but nothing phased me! Also how much everyone loves us. The joy our friends and family had for us was amazing

What advice would you tell other brides?

Take 3 minutes alone between photos. Our photographer gave us time to “switch lenses” so we could have a moment. It was casual and perfect.

What was the one thing you did differently for your wedding?

During our first dance, we called all the married couples to dance with us. Our MC then called out a number of years and people sat down based on their years married. The last standing couple was together 51 years and gave us marriage advice!

What did you do differently? We had my 14 and 16-year-old niece and nephew in our bridal party! I’ve always been insanely close with them so it was a no-brainer! Also, my husbands’ sister is his best friend so she was a “grooms women”. We both agree our unconventional bridal party gave us moments with our favorite people all day long.
