Sarah + Sam

How did you meet?

None other than bumble! We actually lived 3 blocks away from each other so we joke that we were bound to meet organically at some point.

When did you know they were the one?

Not even an hour into our first date I knew that Sam was special and that we were totally hitting it off. I’d say it only took a few weeks to feel confident that he was the one.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His kindness, patience, & how spontaneous he is!

Who proposed and how?

Sam proposed on a Sunday morning after a trip to the farmers market (when he knew I’d least expect it!). He led me to a beautiful park that was next door and popped the question! Followed up with brunch at my favourite restaurant and a celebration with friends!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

The White Magnolia in Franklin, TN. I originally thought I wanted more of a form fitting dress but after trying on a few different A Line gowns I knew that was the the style I wanted to go with. I immediately fell in love with the Elsie Flowy in pebble because it was whimsical and unique to any other dress I had tried on. Plus it had pockets!!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

It was a tie between walking down the aisle and seeing Sam for the first time on our wedding day (we chose not to do a first look) and dancing the night away with all of our favourite people.

What were your favourite details?

We had an outdoor ceremony in December in Nashville so we thought it was necessary to have blankets available to our guests. There was nice signage next to them that said ‘to have & to hold incase you get cold’

We also lined the door of the mansion with beautiful greenery that made it pop!
