How did you meet?

We met through mutual friends about 12yrs ago! When we were both in high school. I was totally hooked on him from the beginning!

When did you know they were the one?

To be honest I knew he was the one from the first time I met him. Locky took a little longer – he was diagnosed with cancer and came to me asking for advice (as my dad had been through a tough battle himself). I was brutally honest to Locky about the fight he had infront of him – he was thankful for my honesty. It was from that moment we became inseparable. He knew I could be open with him and I felt like I could help he through such a tough time in his life

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner

his dedication, his positivity, his bloody good looks! He is such a hard worker with so much passion for what he does. He is a great support and amazing HUSBAND!!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Fell in love with my dress when I put it on for the first time. My bridesmaids had come to every shop to see me try on dresses, but when I came into MWL it was just myself and my mum. So on our wedding day my bridesmaids were surprised by the dress I was wearing too! I just loved the way the dress fell on my body, getting married in Byron I also wanted to have a dress that suited the location. Riley was the perfect dress for the day! I also loved the wings that came with it – I wore a veil for the ceremony and my wings for the party and location shoot!

Who proposed and how?

Locky proposed to me at Lennox Head on the headland. My dad passed away in September 2018 – his favourite band was the eagles. An eagle had been following us around all day – it was the most perfect day at the beach with Dad flying over us. The eagle followed us to the headland and Locky asked me how happy I was and would I make him the happiest man in the world! he got down on one knee and the rest is history! He totally caught me off guard!

Where was your honeymoon?

We haven’t had our honeymoon yet – we had a minimoon in Byron Bay in an AirBnb at Wategoes beach, but we plan on going to Sri Lanka and Maldives around September/October next year!
