How did you meet?

We met at the local pub on a Friday night. The Eyre Hotel where love was definitely in the eyre that night.

When did you know they were the one?

When I couldn’t imagine my life without him which was only a few short months in.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Generous, humorous & compassionate.
Jesse is the best in human form I’ve ever met.

Who proposed and how?

Jesse proposed on a little getaway to Kangaroo Island. He surprised me by proposing to the national park in front of beautiful scenery and so many people!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Adelaide Bridal Collective.
Harlow was the third dress I tried on.
I tried on 17 dresses all together and every dress after Harlow couldn’t live up to my expectations after Harlow. I compared every dress to the details and the way I felt in Harlow and just knew this Harlow was the one for me.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Walking down the aisle and seeing all our loved ones in one place but more importantly, seeing my husband standing waiting for me. It rained on our wedding day, but the rain held off for half an hour so we could have our ceremony outside like we always wanted.

What were your favorite details?

Everything! We had personalised napkins with fun facts, a signature cocktail of our favourite drink.
We loved having our welcome sign written as-

We eat
We drink
We party
And that’s exactly what we did!

What advice would you tell other brides?

All the planning is worth it. I was stressed leading up to the day and felt overwhelmed but it all came together on the day and was absolutely perfect.
Make time for each other on the day, my husband and I took ten minutes alone before we entered the reception and this is a core memory of the day/night for me.
Embrace every moment, it truly is the best day of your life!
