How did you meet?

Dave and I met 9 years ago through mutual friends. We reconnected on social media and quickly became close friends. We both were living in two different states at the time. He received an offer from a neighboring state and moved out a few months later. We started seriously dating after that and the rest is history

When did you know they were the one?

I had a 3 year old daughter from a previous marriage. When Dave and myself became close .. I introduced him to my daughter. The love they have for each other makes me love him even more. He treats her as if it was his own and I couldn’t have asked for a better man to help raise my daughter. When I saw their interactions together I knew he was the one for me. She is 10 now and considers him her second father.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He is the most kind, trustworthy and compassionate person I have met. He will give anyone the shirt off his back and lend a hand when needed. I can count on him for anything.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with my dress at The White Dress by the Shore in Clinton, CT. This being my second wedding I wanted something elegant and simple. I knew right away after doing research that MWL would be the perfect fit. I loved everything about the brand. I did do a lot of trying on and searching before finding the right one. I went to 9 other bridal stores and finally went to the white dress and as soon as I saw Georgie in lace I knew she was it. I loved the lace from afar and couldn’t wait to try it on! It was exactly what I wanted and how I wanted to look on my special day. There was absolutely no hesitation or reserves .

Who proposed and how?

My daughter was also involved from the very beginning. Apparently she had been hiding the ring in her room for one month before he proposed. I think she was more excited than I was. We went to one of our favorite spots to overlook the water and he got down on one knee and proposed with my daughter by my side . It was absolutely beautiful

Where did you go to honeymoon?

We went to Alaska on our honeymoon . We did a cruise for one week and then stayed in Alaska for 4 days. It was one of the best experiences of our lives and we would love to go back!
