How did you meet?
We were in the same class at high school but back then we didn’t like each other. 4 years later we ended up in the same group of friends and after a night out we kissed.
When did you know they were the one?
He put a lot of effort for me.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
Ambitious, honesty, spontaneous.
Who proposed and how?
He proposed. The day before Christmas. We bought a house which was a ruin, but he decorated it with lots of candle lights.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
At Modern Roman in Hilversum. It was a different dress than any other dress. More modern, sexy but classy. All I was looking for.
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
The speeches at dinner time, the party, the ceremony. The whole day actually.
What were your favourite details?
The weather was perfect. The decorations at the location. The little surprises through the day, organised by the masters of ceremony.
What advice would you tell other brides?
Enjoy every minute. Take a step back from the crowd and watch everybody having fun.
Any standout vendors?
Yes, are dessert was a ice cream cake from my own Gelateria.
