How did you meet?

We both play tennis and met through mutual friends within a tennis club

When did you know they were the one?

Our connection was almost immediate! We had known each other through tennis for over 5 years but never had a romantic connection nor did we try to pursue one…. until one summer I decided to make a move after hearing him and his long-term girlfriend broke up. We played tennis one afternoon, shared our first kiss and were together every weekend after that. I knew he was the one after about a month of dating each other. He made me feel so cared for and the best version of myself and continues to every single day.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He is caring, affectionate and very patient.

Who proposed and how?

Justin proposed to me on the beach in Tulum Mexico! We visited Tulum during the first year we were dating. It was our first vacation together. We loved it so much and it became a very special place for us. We decided to go back a year later in December 2019 and he got down on one knee the second day of the trip. (He planned on doing it the first day but it was incredibly humid!! Everyone back home was sweating because he told them he was going to propose the first day too haha).

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I found my dress at The White Dress by the Shore in Clinton CT. I fell in love with Tommy right away – the detailed beaded lace was exactly what I was looking for and the silhouette fit my body perfectly. I felt so beautiful in the dress and no other dresses gave me that same feeling!!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

It’s hard to pin point a specific moment, everything was so perfect!! If I had to pick, it would be walking down the aisle after we were announced husband and wife. In that moment I felt the happiest I ever had surrounded by family and friends who I love so much.

Any standout vendors?

Blackstone Caterers!!! Absolutely amazing food and service. Our coordinator, Karen was such a joy to work with and was there with us every step of the way during Covid reassuring us and keeping us positive. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we wanted – and it was!
