How did you meet?

I first met my husband, Daryl, over 10 years ago when I went to the local cricket club with my sister and her then-boyfriend. Daryl and I spent the whole night talking and laughing, but didn’t manage to exchange numbers. He then moved abroad to live in Argentina. A few years later, my sister and her husband got married and the photos were all over Facebook. Daryl spotted me in these photos and got back in touch. He then returned from Argentina and the rest is history!

When did you know they were the one?

From the the first night we spent with each other, when we first met, I knew there was a special connection between us. Years later, when we eventually went out on a date, I knew I felt differently about him than I had with anyone before. It took me a little while to realise it… but when I did, there was no looking back!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He always looks after me, he is so kind and generous and extremely patient!

Who proposed and how?

Daryl and I went on a very special holiday to Argentina (where Daryl used to live). He had an incredible day at Iguazu falls which was topped off by the most perfect proposal that evening where Daryl got down on one knee in our hotel room. It was a complete surprise and one of the best days of my life (only topped by our wedding!)

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I first spotted this dress on Instagram. Every time I saw it, I just knew it was the perfect dress for me. I wanted to absolutely love it on…. And when I went to the boutique to try it….. I had Goosebumps and instantly felt teary. I knew it was the one and I loved it even more than I hoped I would!
