How did you meet?

A bar downtown!

When did you know they were the one?

My husband likes to say he knew pretty early (within a few weeks!), but I knew about a year in. He was so kind and patient and loved me for every part of who I was, the good and bad. He is my absolute best friend and I couldn’t imagine life with anyone else!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His patience, thoughtfulness, and his ability to be so selfless

Who proposed and how?

Hiking is one of our favorite things to do — we make a point to go to the Adirondacks every year in the fall to hike. We took a trip with our closest friends to Vermont to hike and he proposed on top of a beautiful mountain!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Lovely Bride (Rochester) is where I fell in love with my dress! I follow MWL on Instagram, of course, and the second I saw Archie’s release I knew that was my dress. I immediately called Lovely Bride to try it on and was the first person at that location to try it! I fell in love with it immediately and didn’t look back!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Where to begin, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Of course, the highlight was marrying my best friend and seeing his reaction as I walked down the aisle, but being able to celebrate it with our family and friends made it the most incredible day of our lives. Forever wishing we could relive it!

What were your favorite details?

Details are my favorite parts about weddings! I would say my favorite detail was either our invitations, florals, or signs. We kept it very elegant and timeless.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Don’t sweat the small stuff! Things are going to happen, but you can’t let anything ruin your day. Enjoy every single moment of it because it goes by so fast. Once it’s over you’ll wish you could do it all again, so make every moment count.

Any Standout vendors?

Our wedding venue and coordinator couldn’t have been more incredible, truly, they made everything so seamless and caused me zero stress. If anyone is in the upstate NY area I highly recommend the Hayloft on the Arch. All of our vendors, photographers, DJ, catering were amazing and we couldn’t have gotten more lucky with all of them. They all played such important roles and made everything so enjoyable!
