How did you meet?

We met when I was in year 8 and he was in year 12, he had to deliver work to my lecturer during an Italian lesson and I was swooning as soon as he walked through the door, a day or so later he popped into my Facebook inbox! Nearly 8 years together and we tied the knot on Saturday.

When did you know they were the one?

When I realised he was 100% going to protect me, keep me safe and was continuously supporting me with everything, he was the calm I needed in my Sagittarius lifestyle.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

How hard-working he is, he is so supportive and very determined.

Who proposed and how?

He proposed just as I was running the bath, midway through watching the bachelor and I was getting bored. I ran a bath and completely standing in the nude about to jump in the tub I turned around to him down on one knee 😅

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

The best moment of the wedding was being with all of our favourite people at the reception it was the most spectacular night and everyone was so happy!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with my dress in the beautiful Adelaide boutique, it was such a warm beautiful experience I couldn’t of asked for anything better! I loved how unique the dress was and I hadn’t seen anything so detailed for a long time in previous weddings I had seen, and the tulle wings were what sold me!

What surprised you most at or about your wedding?

How well and perfect everything went and turned out! The last 18 months of planning was so worth it all.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Go to bed early the night before, and I mean early! Don’t go partying with friends and families it’s very easy to get carried away when everyone is around you.

What was one thing you did differently for your wedding?

Kept the ceremony short sharp and shiny, kept it simple and elegant, bridesmaids wore white, didn’t follow anything traditional and did exactly what we wanted.
