How did you meet?

Paul and I met at the end of 2019 at an after-church event, I had just got reconnected in the community and he was one of the first people I met 🙂

When did you know they were the one?

We were friends for a couple of years, I knew he was the one when I finally said yes to going on a Maccas run. The way he made me laugh, and the chats made me never want to go without it.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He loves Jesus
He’s loyal
And he always puts aside anything to spend time with the people he loves

Who proposed and how?

Paul proposed to me in the Hunter Valley. On July 15th, 2022. Conspiring with my parents and keeping it a really good secret. We did a “family trip”. I had no idea, and after a couple of wine tastings we found ourselves at Bimbadgen, roses on the ground and our family and friends hiding behind some bushes to surprise me after he asked to spend the rest of his life with me

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I tried on a few dresses at various different places. But when I went to Made with Love and tried my dress on. It was the only one that brought me to tears and I really felt like a bride in it.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The best moment for me was when we said our own written vows to each other, it was the significance of speaking my promises to Paul out loud and in front of everyone that made my heart happy. To know the true depth of what I was saying and knowing that I was never breaking what I said.

What advice would you tell other brides?

The best advice that Paul and I were given was to take 10/15 minutes and sneak away by ourselves and just watch everyone during reception having a good time. And to look back and see what went into our day. We did that, and I highly recommend it.
