How did you meet?

Our best friends set the two of us up because they thought we would be perfect together. We officially met at my friend’s New Years Eve party.

When did you know they were the one?

Straight away. It sounds very cliche but it really was love at first sight.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His ambitious, caring, and selfless nature. And how he continuously reminds me to appreciate the journey and live in the present moment.

Who proposed and how?

Michael proposed. Our best friends decorated our house with giant balloons that said “Marry Me” and tea light candles in the shape of a love heart on our dining table, while the two of us were out for dinner. When we arrived home, Michael surprised me on one knee with our Golden Retriever “Buddy” and a ring. A moment I will never forget.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

MWL Carnegie in Melbourne. It was the very first dress that I picked out online, and the very first dress that I tried on. Wearing the MWL Tilly made me feel elegant and completely “MYSELF” – which is everything that I was trying to achieve. The subtle sparkle was perfect.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Our “first look” together before the wedding, was such a special moment. Also performing our first dance, inspired by Greece – “You’re the one that I want.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Your partner is marrying you for YOU, not who you think you should be. Be yourself.
