How did you meet?
Tinder! Back when it first came out. We met then saw each other five out of the seven days that first week.
When did you know they were the one?
He had to deal with some medical stuff within the first two months.. when he stuck around after that I knew he wasn’t going anywhere.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
He has zero filter.
The most honest person I know.
Always making me laugh.
Who proposed and how?
He did. We were on a group holiday in New Zealand in July 2018. He had meant to propose while on a hike to a glacier but rain meant that plan went out the window. The rain cleared late afternoon so we went down to Jack’s Point to see the sunset and he proposed on the beach, we had the whole place to ourselves.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
I saw my dress on Instagram and fell in love with it right away. I booked in to try it on at the Gold Coast showroom and it was perfect. No question.
What was the best moment for you at the wedding?
Walking down the aisle and not knowing where to look because everyone was crying!
What advice would you tell other brides?
To try not to stress too much leading up to the day. Within the last week there is hardly anything left in your control so just enjoy it.
What were your favourite details?
Of the dress, the waist and the wings. The Riley in crepe is just so stunning and simply elegant.
Of the wedding, the flowers.
Any standout vendors?
Florals & Co for sure. Sarah was a dream and the flowers were just stunning.
