Natalie + Conor

How did you meet?

We met on our first day of university living on the same floor in residence. 5 years of friendship later, he finally asked me on a date. The rest is history.

When did you know they were the one?

I got really sick one day and had to go to the ER. I was at my absolute worst and super vulnerable. My mom had come to the hospital with us, and he told her that after this night, he knew he wanted to marry me.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His kindness, his drive, and his perfect smile.

Who proposed and how?

An apartment, a puppy, and a first home later, Conor decided he wanted to ask Natalie to spend the rest of their lives together. After months of saving and planning for Natalie’s dream ring, on July 1, 2021, Conor rounded up some of his good buddies to help make the day special. After having dinner where they had their first official date, he brought Natalie to the gardens on our university campus where he got down on one knee and popped the question. Thanks to his friends, they were able to capture this special moment with pictures and videos that they can cherish for a lifetime (good thing too, as the moment was a blur of emotions for both of them).

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I got my dress at the modern bride in Guelph, ON. I had always thought I would get married in a lace dress. But when I tried on Archie, I knew that I had never felt more beautiful. The timelessness, simplicity, and elegance of her made me fall so in love. My second favorite yes (besides saying yes to my husband) was to the dress.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Walking down the aisle and seeing my husband for the first time. We didn’t do a first look, so walking down that aisle towards him is a moment I will never forget. Felt like no one else was in the room but me and him.
