How did you meet?

Zac and I actually met it middle school. Zac was the new student who moved in from out of town in sixth grade to a small town that I have lived my entire life. Over the next few years, we would occasionally talk here and there but then the bus routes got switched and we ended up on the same bus. Zac and I quickly became best friends and talked all the time and eventually started dating in eighth grade. We have been together for almost 14 years now and couldn’t be more happy!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

As someone who keeps more to themselves, I love Zac’s extroverted personality, the way he is unapologetically himself in any situation, and that he knows exactly how to make me laugh!

Who proposed and how?

It’s actually a funny story, I had NO idea Zac was even considering proposing. We had been together for so many years and I wasn’t in any kind of rush to get married as I felt we were already family. However, one day I asked Zac if he wanted to get some professional pictures done by our friend who is a photographer and he surprisingly agreed. I obviously was going to jump on this opportunity and did not get suspicious at all! To my surprise, a month prior Zac had went to New York during a workday without me knowing and bought a ring that just so happened to come in the day before our photo shoot. To say I was surprised when he proposed during a photo shoot I had planned is an understatement!!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I feel in love with Harlow originally two years prior to even trying it on! I saw it on instagram and was absolutely in love. However, I wasn’t getting my hopes up because sometimes things don’t look the same on in person. I then went to a bridal shop called Everthine and made sure they had Harlow so I could definitely try it on and when I put that dress on it exceeded all my expectations. The texture on the dress is absolutely stunning and the material formed to my body so elegantly, I was obsessed. I knew right then and there that Harlow was the dress for me.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

I truly loved just having all our favorite people together in one place! It means so much to us to have everyone come out and join us on our special day and you could feel to love and happiness the entire time!

What were your favourite details?

My favorite details would have to be how seamlessly my dress, the bridesmaid dresses, and florals created a timeless, elegant look.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Allow yourself to enjoy the day!! I know a lot of hard work went into planning this huge event and you deserve to enjoy it too! Also, I would recommend not leaving for your honeymoon right away. My husband and I were able to take the week after our wedding and relax and reminisce on our beautiful day and get everything together before having to leave for our honeymoon. It was the best thing ever!
