How did you meet?

At a wedding !

We were introduced by a family friend and it went from there !

When did you know they were the one?

I knew pretty early on, I’d say within the first few months.
My parents had invited him over to get to know him and my dad couldn’t resist giving him the whole “what are your intentions speech” !
He handled it so well and they just fell in love with him, I guess I knew from then.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Discipline
Ambition
Humour

Who proposed and how?

He did.

We organised a getaway in the Lake District, it was our first trip since COVID.
He thought of everything. I had no idea !

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

In the London MWL store.

It was my second visit to the store & my now sister-in-law made me try on Jaymes in the pebble colour, I kept saying I didn’t want to and when I finally did…oh my goodness did I fall in love!
I placed my order that same day.
It’s true what they say, you know when you find THE dress

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

There were so many amazing moments to choose from I don’t think I could pick one.
I think just being surrounded by our nearest and dearest on such a special day.
I wouldn’t change a thing !

What advice would you tell other brides?

When it comes to your dress- have an open mind!

I was so sure of the style that I wanted but when I tried it on, it just didn’t feel right. I ended up going for something completely different and I loved it !
