How did you meet?

I’m a photographer and my (now husband) runs his own landscaping business. He hired me to take photos for him and we both knew we were in trouble from then haha.

When did you know they were the one?

We did a day trip to double island, it was an incredibly hot day and we walked up to the lighthouse…barefoot. The sand was beyond boiling and he gave me a piggy back all the way down, sacrificing his own feet. He always went above and beyond for me.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

1. How hard working he is
2. His smile/laugh – one of the first things I loved about him
3. So generous

Who proposed and how?

Adam proposed, it was perfect. Adam had recently built our fire pit in the backyard looking out to the mountain. We had some drinks as we normally would outside for sunset and were playing with Luna (our dog) when I turned around and he was on one knee. I balled all night haha. We then went to the distillery (our local) to celebrate.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I was eyeing off a few dresses online and was so excited to come try them on. I’m in QLD and flew down to the Sydney store so my two sisters and mum could come with me. I originally hadn’t selected ‘Harry’ to try on but as soon as I put it on I said this was the one. Was honestly a hard decision between all your dresses, they are so stunning.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The best moment for both of us was when we snuck away when everyone was dancing about 9pm and had a drink to ourselves outside looking at the stars chatting about the day and the fact we just got married!!

What were your favourite details?

I loved the bridal party shots, spraying champagne and having fun! Also loved our champagne tower!
Loved the speeches, everyone had a good laugh.
Spending time with my husband having couple photos.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Don’t stress the small things, the day goes so fast and everyone is there to celebrate you and help you if needed.

Any standout vendors?

Biggest shout out to Bonnie McEvoy our photographer, being a photographer myself everyone asked if it was hard to choose someone but I knew from the beginning I wanted Bonnie to shoot our wedding. She was the first Vendor we booked and everyone at the wedding raved about her. Her photos speak for themselves!
