How did you meet?
Grade 9 of high school
When did you know they were the one?
Almost immediately! We drifted apart and then reunited in grade 12
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
He has the most amazing hazel eyes
He is so confident in everything he does
He is somehow so talented at everything he does
Who proposed and how?
Michael proposed in June of 2020, a month after we lost his father. We went for the most beautiful bike ride that morning and when I pulled over to ask for water, he was on his knee with a ring.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
The modern Bride in Guelph, I instantly fell in love with Archie the second I put it on!!
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
Michael and I took a few moments to ourselves prior to the ceremony to have a drink and the bar, it was the most calming thing.
What were your favorite details?
All things pearl, my veil included
What advice would you tell other brides?
Relax! And breathe, the day goes by so so fast! It’s easy to get caught up in things. Give yourself tons of extra time to really enjoy the day. For me, that meant waking up super early to make sure I could still have my morning coffee and get some tears out.
