How did you meet?

I am a veterinarian and Adam came in to work one day with his parents dog, Scarlett. She had been running around on the beach and was “apparently” limping… well she was absolutely fine when she came into the vet clinic of course! We had an instant connection, and a few months later after getting some courage, Adam asked me out on a date.

When did you know they were the one?

For us it was pretty immediate – after our first dinner date, we strolled along the beach together and Adam asked me to be his girlfriend. We had an immediate connection and have been together ever since.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Adam is a very caring, loving person and always makes sure that those around him are ok.

He is dedicated to his personal development and is always looking for ways to improve himself.

Adam also has a weird habit of singing random songs that come into his head – somewhat annoying but also funny to listen to.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I got my Stevie dress from the lovely Kelly at her Sydney home studio, just before the shop opened at St Ives. I had previously tried on some of the other styles, but I knew it was the one when I saw the photos of it on Instagram. My mum cried when I put it on and that’s always a good indication!

Who proposed and how?

Adam proposed to me, after I arrived home from work one day. We had been in our first home for just a few months and we were getting ready to go out on a dinner date. Adam couldn’t wait to ask me at dinner, so asked me right then and there as soon as I got home!

Where did you go to Honeymoon?

Adam had never been overseas before, so we decided to go to the South Island of New Zealand, where at least the language is the same and the currency not all that different! We spent most of our time in Queenstown. The highlights for us included taking a helicopter up to one of the glaciers, and going horse riding through Lord of the Rings country.
