How did you meet?

We are high school sweethearts! We’ve known each other since middle school, started dating as juniors in high school, went to separate colleges, then got married in May 2023.

When did you know they were the one?

Immediately, my husband (Matt) serves me in many ways and always puts me first.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

-His hard work/drive in his career
-His kindness to anyone
-His ability to always know what to say

Who proposed and how?

Matt proposed at my parents lake house when COVID19 ruined his original plans of flying in our out of state friends. He made it a sweet and intimate proposal with our families there after!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I saw Archie on Pinterest right when it went viral! When I tried on dresses, I knew it was the one when my mom and MIL cried.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Marrying the man of my dreams. We shared apps and drinks after the ceremony privately, which gave us time to reflect on our beautiful day!

What were your favourite details?

Our monogram for sure! We used it on our stationary, dance floor, and cups. Plus we had a wooden “The Charles” sign which now hangs above our bed. Also, I wore my veil for the ceremony and then switched to my MWL bows instead of switching dresses!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing, do what makes you and your partner happy!
