How did you meet?

We met through a friend during covid. We were both invited to a bonfire and bonded over vegan cheddar popcorn . We couldn’t look away from eachother across the fire.. And as cheesy as it may sound.. It was love at first sight.

When did you know they were the one?

When I felt comfortable fully being me around him without being judged or having to feel the need to change in any way

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His kindness
His sense of humour
His dimble

Who proposed and how?

He proposed!
We went out to a restaurant to celebrate my birthday. It was the day we had gotten the keys to our new home. He asked me if I wanted to stop by and see the new place on the way back. When we got there.. He had set up rose pedals on the floor leading up to the living room. There were cushions on the floor with candles and champagne. Once I sat down and turned to him, he dropped on one knee and proposed

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

At Château de la Mariée Nadia in Montréal Canada.
I had originally planned for a fall wedding, thus why I wanted leaves / petals on my dress. When I put the dress on I loved how it looked, flowed and IT HAD POCKETS! I honestly didn’t expect to walk out of the first shop I went into with a dress, but what can I say I fell in love.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Our first private dance/fries. We decided we wanted to have a moment to us before everyone stepped into the venue. We had someone from the Four Seasons bring up some truffle fries.. because I was starving! And then we had our first dance as husband and wife

What were your favourite details?

The flower. They turned out so much better than I expected. They really tied in everything and made the ceremony, cocktail and venue so moody and chic. I also love love loved the Arch my dad built for us.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Breath.
The day will fly by. Take a deep breath every once in a while, look around and take in the moment. You made this happen. You are next to the love of your life, embarking in a new chapter. Savour the moment, there is no point in fussing over the small things, just enjoy your big day.

Decorations and day of coordinator @blanccreme.co helped us out so very much and Julie was fabulous!!
