How did you meet?

We met in New Orleans at a bar on bourbon street. We started talking and have been together ever since! We were long distance for the first 3 years of our relationship.

When did you know they were the one?

From the moment we began talking, it felt right. We never stopped talking to each other ever since that night.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He is compassionate, nurturing, and humble.

Who proposed and how?

He proposed at the exact bar we met at on bourbon street. We were in the city for another trip and as we were walking down Bourbon street passing the bar, he got down on his knee, I was extremely shocked! He had a photographer and videographer recording the entire thing (melts my heart)

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

Having our sweet labrador retriever, Bentley, as our ring bearer and included in our pictures.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with my dress when I saw a picture on Instagram actually. I thought that is so different from what I have been looking at there is no way. Before that, I went in and tried on all the crepe dresses I could find. I thought that’s what I wanted. Something was not right, I did not like the plain and all white on me. When I went back to A&be in Dallas I told them I want to try on every made with love dress. She, Jackie, brought out Carla in Bone color and I was instantly in love.

What surprised you most at or about your wedding?

How fast it goes 🙁 I would have added 5 more hours to the night if I could have.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Be in the moment, don’t worry about the small things. Focus on you and your partner and make it a day to remember between the two of you because that’s what it’s about.

What was one thing you did differently for your wedding?

We wrote our own vows and said them to each other. Even though we had guests it was like we were the only ones there and it was so intimate and romantic.
