Madi + Cruize

How did you meet?

Hubby, Cruize, and I met at our gym we both go to.

Cruize had noticed me for some time, and later admitted that it was my eyes that had first caught his attention

Being too shy to come up to me at the gym, he deiced he would send me a friend request on Facebook, then soon after slid into my DM’s haha

When did you know they were the one?

As soon as we met in person, he had such a calming presence. He made me feel safe and home all at once.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

> his big heart
> his ability to always find the good in every situation
> his sense of humour

Who proposed and how?

Cruize proposed while away at a weekend at Maleny, it was very unexpected but such a sweet surprise. We were both rugged up in bath robes, he played a song that he said reminded him of me, then got down on one knee after the song played out.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I’d come across the label when my friend was getting married two years ago – in particular I fell in love with Louie Flowy. I’d always thought Louie would be my dress until I saw Pippa released which really caught my attention as being so simply elegant.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

I loved a lot of moment, but for me it was getting ready for my wedding in my childhood home with nu girls and mum & dad

What advice would you tell other brides?

The day really does go so fast – we decided a “sweet heart table” was a nice way to enjoy some time together through the business of the reception.

Any standout vendors?

We were so blessed that all our vendors were just such a pleasure to work with – we really were so lucky. Everyone from our transport to our bar staff at the Brolga Theatre could not do enough for us.
