How did you meet?

We met through works assessment center day.

When did you know they were the one?

We were best friends for a while and then it started to naturally feel like we should be more so we went on a date.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His determination and drive.
His kind heart.
His caring nature.

Who proposed and how?

Aaden proposed at my childhood get away and to this day favourite get away over on the West Coast.
I was busy organizing his surprise birthday with our families while he was using them as double agents organizing our proposal.
He set up the house with rose petal, candles, champagne and MARRY ME in light up letters.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I saw my dress on the MWL website and fell in love and was lucky enough to have a Christchurch retail – Brides of Merivale. I had tried on roughly 25 dresses prior at a different location but once I was this dress I knew it was THE ONE.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Having a boogie on the dance floor of course! Huge part of why I picked the style of dress I had.
Also doing sunset photos as this was such a beautiful quiet part of the night just to embrace everything and have some uninterrupted time with the new hubby.

What were your favorite details?

My dress of course!
My Harlo pearl shoes and my Wild Laurel pearl earrings!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Get a videographer if you can afford one as the day is so overwhelming (in a fabulous way) that you forget some parts of the day so it’s a great way to recall some beautiful moments.

Also you can’t please all your guests so please don’t try too, it’s your day! They are their to celebrate you!
