How did you meet?

Rob and I originally encountered each other at high school… Except he was a prac teacher and I was a student. Despite the fact that we never really interacted or met one another… All of the girls at school had the biggest crush on him! Me… Well I was oblivious and was just focused on catching up with my friends and surfing on the weekends! We live in a small town and apparently years after I graduated, he kept seeing me around our little town. Eight years later he added me online… I didn’t realize who he was at first, but after a cheese and wine night with my besties, I summoned the courage to ask him who he was… We got chatting and he asked me out! Our first date was a trip to the beach after work, a small hike and a picnic dinner.

When did you know they were the one?

On our third date, we had gone for a sunrise hike and hopped from beach to beach…Our date was supposed to last from sunrise until maybe lunch time… We arrived back home at 9 pm! I knew that we had a connection that I couldn’t ever imagine having with someone else. Our mutual love for the sun, sand, and waves was also a massive win

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His humble heart, his optimistic outlook on life and his amazing eyes

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with my dress at the original Sydney boutique. I had tried on a fair few dresses around Sydney, however, when I put on Dasha I just felt like me! She felt amazing on, was elegant and had such amazing detail. And can I just say… that low back! MWL Dasha enhanced my assets and hid my insecurities! I found a dress for my boobless body that still made me feel feminine in every way! Kelly and the girls at MWL had the most beautiful story on how they had originally started the business and run the business and I loved everything about the brand!

Who proposed and how?

Rob and I were on a holiday in Hawaii. He sneakily asked my Dad for my hand in marriage before we left and proposed at sunrise over a lookout of Hanauma Bay! He had carried the ring in his backpack the entire time we were there! It had survived days on salty rocks, on hikes, and on the beach! Lucky he never lost his backpack!

Where did you go to Honeymoon?

Rob and I returned to Hawaii and relived our sunrise at Hanauma Bay! We also visited the beautiful island of Kauai, where we trekked some amazing trails! It was one very muddy honeymoon but so much fun!
