How did you meet?

Michael and I met through a mutual friend 12 years ago

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His openness, his determination and his desire for more

When did you know they were the one?

The first day we met! I sat on his kitchen counter as he tried to make box Kraft Mac without any milk his determination sealed the deal!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Love and Lace Bridal in Southern California. I knew I wanted to feel effortlessly cool and fun. As soon as I put Rosey on, she felt like ME. The detailing was such a fun element and the slit gave me all the cool-girl vibes I was looking for.

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

Finally hearing my husband say his vows. We we’re engaged at the end of 2019, had planned for a summer 2020 wedding. We eloped instead with traditional vows and only our parents, his siblings and my two friends present. It was so specially to get to write our own vows and promise them to each other in front of our families and friends.

What were your favourite details?

We built our escort display together so that was really special to see come to life. Hearing our friends and family laughing as they played the games we had set out for cocktail hour. Dancing with my dad, watching Michael dance with his mom. The beautiful, intentional florals throughout the space. Finally getting to share such a special milestone with everyone we love.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Dance!! We got so caught up in visiting with everyone and catching up that we completely forgot to hit the dance floor until the DJ called us back for our final dance together

Any standout vendors?

Our incredible coordinator Kenzie from @detailsdarling! We worked with her for our elopement and she does not skip a beat. She instantly feels like a best friend and gets everything handled. I had the most calm morning getting ready because she was there. I can’t say enough good things about her. We plan to hire her whenever it comes time to plan a baby shower. And our incredible photographer @brenna.Lee.photo. We hired her to do our engagement photos and hit it off immediately. Since then, we have done styled shoots with her and worked together 6 times, she’s truly one of our good friends and we feel so lucky. Her talent is unmatched and I’m so glad we have found her!
