How did you meet?
We met as young 18 year olds partying but finally came together in 2014! After some persuading from Ainsley (although I can’t say I wasn’t eager… I was just paying it cool!)
When did you know they were the one?
Pretty quickly. We felt very comfortable in each others company. He is my safe space
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
Lucy of Ainsley: A good father, selfless and kind.
Ainsley of Lucy: Puts others before herself, attractive and kind.
Who proposed and how?
Ainsley proposed to Lucy.
Our son carried the ring to me whilst I was washing the dishes.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
Coco & Kate in the UK.
The fit and colour were flawless. I have NEVER, EVER loved a brand as much as I have MWL. There are 0 comparisons!
What advice would you tell other brides?
I can honestly say I was a very relaxed bride. (Some may say too relaxed). I wanted good food, good drink, good style & good company!
Just chill and enjoy the ride! (The wilder the better!)
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
Very difficult to choose… it was UNREAL.
I have 3 vivid memories… 1. when I walked down the aisle and my son looked at me with a huge grin. 2. When I was terrified about our vows and I suddenly calmed down as I held Ainsley’s hand. 3. When we were all raving (and I mean RAVINGG) and my husband pulled me aside and said ‘ take a moment and look at all our friends, this is amazing’.
