How did you meet?

We went through school together, we’re ‘boyfriend and girlfriend’ a few times as kids and eventually at the age of fifteen we found each other again.

When did you know they were the one?

I wanted to spend all my time with him and had never loved anyone more, I could see my future with him.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Humour, how caring he is and his spontaneity.

Who proposed and how?

He proposed in lockdown, he set up an igloo in the garden on a warm summer night and lit the path with candles. He played a video of all of our pictures from the age of 15 to our song ‘a thousand years’. Then got down on one knee …

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Ava Louise bridal! I was obsessed with the Lola and didn’t even consider the Penny. My mum picked it out, I tried it on last and fell in love! I felt like a bride!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Walking into our reception as husband and wife.. and the PARTY!

What were your favorite details?

The dress! The decor! The groom!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Enjoy every moment, don’t worry about feeling nervous, you have planned this day to perfection and the minute you step down that aisle all your worries will melt away! Take moments to look at your surroundings and take it all in.
