How did you meet?

We met in 5th grade, we had the same home room together! We grew up just 2 miles apart.

When did you know they were the one?

Freshman year of high school we had more classes together & became closer friends! I wrote in his year book as a joke that we were going to get married one day & even called “ dibs” on him to all my friends ( he still looked like a 12 year old at the time lol). Fast forward to junior year of high-school we started dating & I knew he was the one at seventeen.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He is the sweetest person ever, hardworking, selfless, and I love how he treats others.

Who proposed and how?

He proposed at his parents lake house, it was just him & I at the lake that weekend. It’s always been our happy place so it was perfect. He pulled the ring out out at sunset and proposed ( 8 years later). It was a dream, after being together for so long I figured I would have known when it was going to happen but I was clueless. Then he starts heading to our favorite marina & I hear a bunch of screaming from the dock. All of our family and friends were there waiting there to celebrate, it was amazing!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with the Harlow dress from made with love’s Instagram page before we were even engaged. On my dress shopping day we went to several bridal shops but I just couldn’t wait to get to Chantilly Couture because they carry the Made with Love Bridal line. I tried it on & immediately knew it was the one!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The best moment was for sure my first dance with my Dad. Dancing together has always been our thing. I had the DJ play 20 seconds of a slow song & then had him change it to my Dads favorite song to surprise him. We danced to September by Earth, Wind & Fire & it was just the best moment ever.

What were your favourite details?

My favorite details about the wedding was just the fact that we chose destination. So all of our family & friends were in Cabo with us the entire week! So getting to spend so much time with all our favorite people the days leading up to the wedding & after made it so special.
