How did you meet?

We met when I moved to Dallas. He’s an identical twin, so when I met them, I couldn’t tell them apart. Thus, blowing him off, completely uninterested! I slowly became friends with him and his twin, and eventually was able to tell them apart (jeff is cuter:-P). We ended up going on a few dates and I couldn’t believe I blew him off the first time I met him! He absolutely swept me off my feet!!!

When did you know they were the one?

We went on a beach trip about 4 months into dating and that’s when I knew I loved him<3

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His laugh- he has this tender, sweet sweet laugh that I LOVE!!
His heart for God. He is a pastor and loves to serve the Lord in everything he does.
Because he loves God, he loves people. I love the way he cares for others!

Who proposed and how?

He proposed on the rooftop of one of Dallas’ prominent hotels. White rose petals, pictures of us, my family flew in, best friends came from all over. It was the ultimate surprise and most romantic night!!!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I found the Lola months before Jeff proposed! I knew it was the one, but thought I wasn’t going to be able to get it in time for the wedding, so decided to look for other dresses. When I walked into the store I bought it from, A&BÈ Bridal in Dallas, I showed the stylist my dress hoping for something similar. She responded with “Oh, that’s the Lola! We have it in our showroom and can 100% get it in time!” I put it on immediately and bought it 15 minutes later! It was a dream come true!!!

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

We got married at the beach, in our favourite little town. The morning of we had a tornado come through- something that RARELY happens in this part of Florida. Thankfully I was calm and the day ended up being amazing. But my favourite part was the sunset that afternoon. It was like cotton candy. We got to go down to the beach to take photos and it was absolutely a dream. Had it not been for the tornado, that moment wouldn’t have been as beautiful and special as it was.

What were your favourite details?

My favourite detail was my headband I wore. It was the headband my mom wore in my parents wedding. I had not planned on wearing it, but when I bought the Lola it matched almost perfectly. It was so special!

What advice would you tell other brides?

HAVE FUN! I was so anxious about the weather leading up to my wedding day that it took away from enjoying the week of. Thankfully the morning of the wedding, during the tornado, I was so calm. I just realized that there was nothing I could do to change the circumstance, so I was going to enjoy it regardless of what could go wrong!
