How did you meet?

I was backpacking around Australia and found a job at a pub in Airlie Beach QLD, where Matt used to come for drinks and dinner with his friends. One night he made a rose out of a paper napkin and gave it to me with his number in front of all of his friends. I thought that was very sweet and messaged him after work and the rest is history.

When did you know they were the one?

I think we both knew very early on that we would be together forever. We want the same things in life and everything was so much fun and really easy!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

That he can make me smile no matter what. His kind heart and how safe I fell around him.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I first saw ‘Harlie’ on instagram when she was released and I fell in love with the lace immediately. It is so different and beautiful and I loved the boho yet elegant look which I had envisioned myself wearing on my wedding day. When I booked my appointment at the Sydney store, I actually tried on a few other dresses first, but when I put on ‘Harlie’ everyone in the room knew she was the one!

Who proposed and how?

Matt proposed in Amalfi, Italy on a holiday. We had bought some drinks and food from the deli and wandered down the rocks and sat by the water, where he got down on one knee and asked me! He totally caught be by surprise which I loved.
