How did you meet?

We met back in 2010 when we worked part time together, we got back in touch in 2012 and the rest was history!

When did you know they were the one?

We hit it off straight away and we never looked back, I knew he was the one from our first date! He made me laugh until I had mascara running down my cheeks!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Eliot is so unbelievably caring, he has taught me a different way to view the world, one in which he gives his time so freely to anyone that needs it, without any complaint.
He is the calm and contentment in my life and fills our home with such happiness.

Who proposed and how?

Eliot proposed in our favourite spot in Edinburgh, he originally wanted to propose infront of the fountains but santa land was set up!! So we walked through the park and I had no idea what was coming, he kept it a complete surprise!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

When I walked into The Aisle, I was asked ‘if you could pick any dress and run away with it now, which one would you choose?’
Little did I know it would be the dress I would say yes too.
I just knew it was the one!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Seeing Eliot at the end of the aisle. I was so nervous until I saw him standing there, I instantly felt so calm seeing him smiling back at me.

What were your favourite details?

My favourite details were in the venue itself, the building has so much character and the flowers on the table compliemented the blue artwork on the ceiling. It brought everything together and it was so beautiful.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Make sure you say to yourself throughout the day ‘just take this moment in’.
The day flies by and everyone wants to see you & spend time with you, so make sure you have some time planned in the day to be with your new husband/wife!

Helen at The Bobbin.
She made the dress fit me like a glove and added some beautiful details. She was absolutely incredible and you felt like a friend from the first meeting.
