Krystal + David

How did you meet?

David and I met on Tinder 8 years ago. Since our story is not that exciting, we like to tell people we met as I was falling down a mountaintop and he saved me! He was my hero! We have been in love ever since!

When did you know they were the one?

To be honest, it wasn’t love at first sight for either of us. Our love grew stronger and stronger over time. I knew David was the one when he would remember small details about myself that I had no idea I did. He would remember the way I scrunched my nose when I laughed or what I wore on a random Thursday. He is and always will be the one now.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

I love his sarcasm (although my jokes are funnier), his sense of calm (I can be a really anxious person), and his love for his family (the way he loves me and the dogs shows every day). He is my sense of home.

Who proposed and how?

David proposed to me like Jim did to Pam on The Office (it is my FAVORITE show!). On Christmas Eve, he looked up the midway point from his moms house, where we wound spend Christmas Eve every year, to our house. Jim proposed to Pam outside of a gas station and David did the same thing to me. Some people might think it is weird, but it was PERFECT for us!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with my dress due to the simplicity, but sexiness of it. The cowl back laid perfectly on me and I was able to pair the dress with fun accessories including the Harlow Veil!

What was the best moment for you at the wedding

The best moment of my wedding was the moment right after the ceremony when we were swept away to spend a minute to ourselves. We cried and hugged the entire time taking in the first few moments of him and I just being Newlyweds. It was such a special moment for us and makes me cry every time I think about it.

What were your favourite details?

My favorite details were our small details we included during our day. We included signature cocktails named after our four dogs, fun fact napkins which included facts about David and I and a heart meditation we included during our ceremony which really allowed us to take in the moment. The small details are the details the guests loved the most!

What advice would you tell other brides?

It is cliché, but the day goes by so fast! Take in every moment and make sure to add all the details you and your partner want to your day. Set alone time for your and your partner to take in those special moments throughout the day. We included a last dance to take in the day outside under the temple we got married in and am so glad we did!

Any standout vendors?

Our venue, Terrain at Styers was AMAZING! It rained on our wedding day, but they made the entire day go seamlessly. If you are looking for a venue in the PA area, I would 100% recommend them.
