How did you meet?

We met in 2013 after we had been introduced digitally, and we chatted over text for nearly three months before we had our first date. Our first date was at a speakeasy in Seattle, WA, and we ended up talking for over five hours and the bar ended up kicking us out as they were closing. We walked out and held hands, and the chemistry that started that evening still lives through today.

When did you know they were the one?

It was easy for me to tell that he was the one, and I knew it from our first date. After a year of dating, we went to Barcelona together on our first vacation, and it was the first time we told each other that we were in love.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His intelligence, his charm, his passion – they were all qualities that I knew I wanted in a life partner, and they were standouts from day one.

Who proposed and how?

Kevin proposed on a trip to our favorite wine valley, Walla Walla, WA. The memories that we had created over the seven years prior led us to one of our favorite places, wine country, where we could spend time just relaxing, drinking wine, and talking about life. He took me out into our favorite vineyard and got down on one knee, and even surprised me with a photographer who captured that special moment!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I had been following MWL on Instagram for a few years, and I knew Louie was the one, but the minute I tried it on at a&be bridal in Seattle, I was in love.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

When Kevin and I sat down after the ceremony at dinner and looked at all of our family and friends together, we looked each other in the eyes and our souls smiled. We felt so much love for one another over the previous nine years of our relationship, but to bring all of our favorite people together to celebrate our love together with us was magical!

What were your favourite details?

Our bridal party had the best photos and outfit details, we were so pleased with the overall look and aesthetic of our colors and how they worked with the vineyard!

What advice would you tell other brides?

The best advice I received was two fold – make sure you find a coordinator to help you with all of the stressful details the day of, and ensure that you sit down with your partner and share the special moments throughout the day alone, even if just for five minutes at a time! This day is about YOU TWO, and no one else!
