How did you meet?
My hubby, Dan, and I met at a gym. Classic tale of personal trainer meets Zumba booty shaker! I asked him where the tricep machine was one day and the rest is history! Those who sweat together stick together.
When did you know they were the one?
As cliche as it sounds I knew something was different about Dan on our very first date, but I didn’t know for sure until he moved with me so that I could pursue my dream career as an occupational therapist in the schools. Also, when he let me eat off his plate and wrestle on the living room floor, I knew I couldn’t let him go!
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
My three favorite attributes of Dan are that he actively listens, makes me laugh, and is so romantic.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
I went to eight bridal salons and found nothing, but loved every single MWL dress I tried on at Ali Nicole Bridal in Grand Rapids, MI! Ali’s store is seriously gorgeous with such personalized service! Frankie was the babe I chose for the big day and I never wanted to take off my dress! I wish I could play dress up every dang day! Chani veil was the perfect accessory!
Who proposed and how?
Dan proposed at Walt Disney World in front of Cinderella’s castle around Christmas time. We got in line to take a picture and he got down on one knee!
Where did you go to Honeymoon?
We went to Hawaii on our honeymoon (Oahu, Maui, and Kauai)!
