How did you meet?
Aidan and I met on a night out in Newcastle, Australia. Our first date was 6 weeks later in Newcastle as Aidan lived 3.5 hours away. I remember looking up the menu and choosing something I didn’t have to cut as I use a knife in my left hand and I didn’t want him to think I was weird… so I went with the gnocchi.
When did you know they were the one?
Aidan has treated me like a princess from the very beginning. His willingness to move to Newcastle and leave his family and friends behind to be with me was a massive tick early on in the relationship.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
– His big luscious lips
– He cooks me gourmet meals every night of the week with the best meat as he was a butcher
– He is very clever and funny
Who proposed and how?
Aidan proposed to me on a private picnic in the vineyards Hunter Valley. He told me to get a photo looking out at the mountains and when I turned around he was on one knee. It was so beautiful!!
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
Remi was the one and only wedding dress I saved on my Instagram after we got engaged. If it fitted and looked like the model in the saved post… I was buying it. I bought it!!!
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
I loved absolutely everything about our wedding day! From walking down the aisle, to getting our location photos to our first dance. Seeing Aidan and his groomsmen cry as I walked down the aisle was very emotional for everyone.
What were your favourite details?
The only time I cried during the day was when I done a first look with my dad. It was such a special moment that I got on film and can keep forever.
What advice would you tell other brides?
– Enjoy every moment as the day goes so quick!
– Have a lunch or dinner the day before the wedding to catch up with family and friends. This way you can enjoy your wedding day!
