How did you meet?

We actually met through tinder. We spent a month talking before we went on our first date and when we finally met, it just made sense that we would be together.

When did you know they were the one?

I knew he was the one on our first date. We went to a farmers market/arts and crafts show and spent the whole day walking around, talking, and joking. He very effortlessly fit into my life.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

My favorite attributes are how hard working he is at reaching our goals and his own, how patient he is with me when I become emotional, and how passionate he is about all the things he loves.

Who proposed and how?

He proposed when we were on a trip to celebrate my graduation from grad school and for our three year anniversary. We went out to a nice dinner then went for a walk in a beautiful park which is where he proposed. He had no idea where he was going to do it but knew he was that night on our anniversary.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I originally fell in love with the dress after seeing pictures on Made with Love’s instagram. I then fell more in love when I tried it on for the first time (was also the very first wedding dress I ever tried on) at Honest in Ivory.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The best moment of my wedding was taking time to do something we love together one on one. After the ceremony and before we went to our reception we had a private picnic and went fishing. It made for the perfect day.

What were your favorite details?

My favorite details was just that we got to spend the day with family and friends who we love and care for and who feel the same towards us. We had a very simple, non-traditional wedding but having that closet people around us was the best.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Do what is going to make you and your spouse happy. It doesn’t matter if you have a big wedding or elope – what matters is being happy with your person. That’s what you will remember from your wedding day.
