How did you meet?

We met at a nightclub when we were both working a ski season in Whistler, Canada when were just in our early 20’s!

When did you know they were the one?

The way our lives meshed together was just so effortless. We met whilst we were on working holidays when were in our early 20’s and then spent the next 3 years travelling and working just the two of us. You always know whether you’ll make it as a couple if you can travel together and live together and we we’re doing both and having the best time of our lives. From there we settled back in the real world, got real jobs, but never lost the fun in our relationship.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His quick wit. Doesn’t take himself or life too seriously and has an unending dedication to make me smile and laugh

his thirst for knowledge. Always wanting to learn something new and has determination in everything he puts his mind too.

his passion for life and willingness to try something new. Will give anything a go and enjoy it

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I saw the Stevie dress on Instagram and instantly fell in love with it. I loved the nude colouring, the lace, the style of the dress and I couldn’t go past that beautiful train.

It was the first dress I tried on and I was sold after my first fitting!

Who proposed and how?

Alex proposed when we were on another snowboarding trip in Japan. It was a beautiful night and the snow was falling so hard that we were playing around in it on the way back home from dinner. Alex was taking photos and then got down on one knee. We set off fireworks and had drinks to celebrate!!
We originally met in the snow, fell in love at the snow and became engaged at the snow, so you could say it’s a really special place for us!

Where did you go to Honeymoon?

We went to Africa!! We’ve done quite a lot of travelling but it had always been on our bucketlist to visit so knew it would be an extra special trip when we finally got there. We went on safari to see all the beautiful animals in the wild and then spent some time lazing on the beaches in Zanzibar. Absolute bliss!
