Kaley + Andrew

How did you meet?

Andrew and I met in high school during our senior year. We were in the same class together, an audio-video class that created weekly shows for our high school. We convinced each other we would like to go to prom together but just as friends, but that quickly changed and turned into something more. We were Inseparable after that, we attended the same college and graduated together.

When did you know they were the one?

I knew he was the one when I got sad every single day he left to go back home, practice, or work. I wanted to be around him 24/7 the one person I could be around the entire day and not get tired of. The person that makes me so frustrated but so happy all in the same day. I want to tell all the good and bad to, because I know he will take care of me. I can’t stop smiling when I see him happy!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

-His caring heart- will do everything in his power to make others around him happy.
-Heart for Jesus- he never pressured me into doing anything I didn’t feel comfortable with, but he answered all my questions big and small. He never looked at me differently.
-Motivation- He is my biggest fan, he always pushes me to be better, he always encourages me.

Who proposed and how?

Andrew proposed, I always told him I want a beautiful place we can always go back and visit when I get proposed to. I also wanted my family with me. Well, he went above and beyond! He planned my friends to take me out to a beautiful winery in Austin over a beautiful view and surprisingly showed up and took me outside. He hired a photographer to take pictures! Then he surprised me with my family, who I imminently started crying when I saw, right after I said yes!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with my dress online! I found the perfect dress on Pinterest and I searched long nights just to find a dress similar and finally, I came across the MWL Instagram and I couldn’t stop checking every day to see what dresses they had! Then I travelled across the country to Annalise Bridal, because due to covid and my mom being in the military she could not travel to Texas to go shopping with me, so I travelled to her. I could not have done it without my mother. I tried on multiple MWL dresses, I refused to try on anything else and fell in love with tommy!

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

When my hubby grabbed the mic at the reception and danced around singing his favourite song in front of family and friends. He had the biggest smile on his face and I was so happy. Look at me now was the song! He killed it!!

What were your favourite details?

I loved that Alex was amazing and made sure I had my removable skirt available before my wedding! I honestly loved that skirt so much! I almost cried when I finally received it in the mail. I thought there was no possible way I could get it on such late notice, but she made it possible. I will forever be thankful for her

What advice would you tell other brides?

I never took everyone seriously when they said how fast the day would fly by! Make sure to schedule time to enjoy your ceremony and reception space before it fills with guests! You will not regret it, go soak in the moment that you have dreamed and talked about!

Any standout vendors?

Our photographer and videographer were off the charts! Not only did they make me feel comfortable the entire day of my wedding, but they were also dancing during the reception! They acted as I knew them all my life. They fit right in with my friends and family!
