How did you meet?

My husband and I met 7 years ago at a toga party when we were both attending college at Oklahoma State University. I stole his toga and he stole my heart. Super cheesy but definitely true. We’ve been together ever since and now we are married and have two baby dogs. We couldn’t be happier

When did you know they were the one?

I’m extroverted and very type A and he’s quite the opposite. I knew that he was the one because he listened to everything that I had to say. I have A LOT to say. He encouraged my loud singing in car. He would stay up and keep me company if I had to pull an all nighter for school. I so badly wanted to be around him all the time. Finally, at around 6 months in, he started talking to me also. That’s when I knew he was the one. And I had a hard time listening to him, and I honestly still do, because he wants to talk about ESPN all the time, but I love staring at him when he’s talking because he’s such a smoke show. Eventually he wouldn’t shut up! But he is so beautiful. And the most perfect human. I’m a very lucky girl.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

I love Max’s immense capacity for love. He loves me so much and he makes me feel loved every second of every day. He loves our dogs and he is so sweet to them. We have this awful cat that is truly evil, but Max even loves the cat. I also love how Max is stoic and logical. I’m not that way. And I love how amazing Max looks. All the time. Sometimes it’s hard to have difficult talks with him or counter his arguments because he is such a beautiful person. I’m swooning all the time. Dreamboat.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

fell in love with my dress at Chantilly Couture in Oklahoma City, OK. I only tried on 3 dresses! When I tried on the Riley Luxe, it was a done deal. I fell in love with it because it made me feel tall and strong and beautiful. I’m only 5’2” so for me to feel tall, it was definitely something special. The dress elongated my torso and framed my relatively slim hips so well. For me and the dress, it was love at first sight.

Who proposed and how?

Max proposed to me in wine country! We visited Northern California in March 2018. On the last day of our trip we visited an amazing winery with a beautiful patio. We were tipsy and happy and dancing and then he pulled out the ring. We picked out the ring together, because we do everything together, but him proposing was still a surprise because I didn’t even realize that he had picked up the ring! We special ordered it.

Where did you go to Honeymoon?

We went to Tulum! We spent 8 days basking in the sun, doing some beachside yoga, exploring cenotes, hanging out with monkeys at a sanctuary and eating guac!! Ahh it was so perfect.
