How did you meet?

4 years ago we stumbled across each other at a local bar, exchanged a kiss and a flirt and went on our way. We didn’t stop thinking about each other and he tracked me down via my friend a few weeks later and got chatting.

When did you know they were the one?

About a week in, we sat down on the beach after a night out and spoke about what our futures looked like. We both said in our vows we knew that night, that we were exactly what each others futures looked like.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His drive for adventure
His reliable, consistent love for me
His desire to keep love alive forever

Who proposed and how?

Matt proposed over heart reef in our boat, I didn’t realise until after I saw the drone footage that’s where we were.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I got married 30 weeks pregnant, the dress I ordered arrived after trying it on 4 weeks earlier looked ridiculous, I rushed down to Love and Lace in Mackay, hoping I’d find SOMETHING a week out from the wedding. I tried on about 15 dresses, when I put the Hendrix on, it felt like home.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Walking down the aisle and seeing Matt holding our son, watching him burst into tears and his beautiful vows.

What were your favourite details?

The beautiful signature back and plunging neck line was so flattering, and the train just flattered the dress so beautifully. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect dress.
