Jessica & Mark

How did you meet?

My husband and I both met while working at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. I was in Orlando for college at The University of Central Florida and my future husband was working there as an internship. We both worked at the front desk at one of the resort and instantly clicked.

When did you know they was the one?

For me I would say I was on his social media with my roommates and I saw a picture of him and just knew! We traveled on many adventures across the state and been through a lot of emotional times together and always come through on top!

What’s your three favorite attributes of your partner?

Laughter, Adventurous, Hard-working

Who proposed and how?

Mark proposed. We traveled out to Amelia Island for my birthday weekend. We rented a huge house and my whole family was in town from Boston, MA but they surprised us with my sister and her husband joining us last minute. He told me no one knew so it was nice all of my sisters were there.  Originally him and my mom planned a firepit night on the beach for my birthday but the winds were high so they cancelled the fire pit. He proposed on Cinco de Mayo, the day before my birthday, everyone was on the beach and in the pool just having a great time. We came back to the house to freshen up for dinner. We were on the back patio overlooking a beautiful green surroundings about to do a toast and I turned to toast everyone and by the time I turned back he was down on one knee.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I know how my body shape is and the style I felt comfortable in but couldn’t find anything I LOVED. I was scrolling through Instagram and found MWL. I was torn between the Frankie and the Sasha. My mom and sisters planned a long weekend and flew down to Florida we found out there was a salon that carried MWL about an hour away. It was out first stop out of 5 salons that weekend. We walked into Malindy Elene, Tampa, FL and we had the entire store to us four. I tried the Frankie on first and fell in love. My sisters and mom agreed I looked at ease, so comfortable. THEN I tried on the Sasha it has everything I wanted. Low back, detail, tan underlay, light in weight and I felt like a bride, I wanted to get married on the beach to my best friend in this dress. I was so happy with both dresses but I knew I had other appointments and my mom said it will be here if we have to come back. We all drove to the next salon I tried on 5 dresses that were okay and we left. That night we walked around downtown and looked in shop windows and we all talked and gushed about the wedding and right then and there I stopped in my tracks. My mom asked me what was wrong and I told her I didn’t want to waste anyone else’s time I knew that the MWL Tanned Sasha was MY dress and we needed to go back. Luckily the salon had their first appointment open and the next morning we went at 11am and purchased the most beautiful dress I have ever tried on!
