How did you meet?
In English class at St Johns University. We were paired up on a project together.
When did you know they were the one?
I always knew.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner
Honesty, humor, commitment
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
I saw this gown on IG and when I learned a little shop in NYC carried it, I knew I had to have it. It was the first dress I tried on.
Who proposed and how?
Russell proposed to me while I was at work. I work as a speech therapist in a high school for students with special needs. He came in during one of my debate practices, and used the topic of the debate to get on one knee!
What was the best moment for you at the wedding?
The best moment was our first look, that’s when I really felt “this is happening.”
What surprised you most at or about your wedding?
How emotional Russell was.
What advice would you tell other brides?
Live in the moment & you don’t need to spend a lot / or stress to have a gorgeous day.
What was the one thing you did differently for your wedding?
I choose to not have a cake. It wasn’t us & we didn’t want to stop the party.
