How did you meet?

Riley and I grew up together as our parents were friends. Riley was in the year above me at school but I never looked at him in a romantic way, he was more of a brother (or so I initially thought!)

When did you know they were the one?

Riley was persistent in showing he liked me! He was always kind. One day in 2008, I remember sitting next to him in class. The sun came through the window and hit him directly in his gorgeous face. His bright smile went from ear to ear as he looked at me. I felt my tummy flutter with butterflies and that was when I knew!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Riley is the most genuine person I know. He is a hard worker and he has a ripper smile 😉

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I first saw Willow when I was in the “explore” section of Instagram. She was on a girl in a paddock with cows in the background. It reminded me of home and my Nonno’s old farm. I saw the split in the leg and thought, “Well, she has a modern, hidden surprise about her too, and I like that!” I then met her in Bluebell Bridal in Melbourne. She was the first one I tried on in the store, and nothing compared after that first encounter! She made me feel beautiful all day, she floated around me, she held me and she made me a bride. The Chani Veil complimented her too! Thank you, Made With Love, I will treasure her forever!

Who proposed and how?

Riley proposed to me in our backyard. He had set up fairy lights and lanterns and had hanging a huge hand-painted sign with the words: “Will You Marry Me?” I arrived home from work on a stormy evening and could see the lights in the backyard. When I opened our gate I saw him standing there. I was shaking. He got down on one knee and asked me. Unable to control my crying I managed to say yes then thought I was going to pass out from the emotion lol!! I’ve had eyes for him since we were 15 years old.

Where did you go to Honeymoon?

We went to New Caladonia and stayed at two stunning places. We enjoyed the island life and slept on the water in our over water bungalows at L’escapade Island Resort and wined and dined with impeccable food at Le Meridien Noumea Resort and Spa.
