How did you meet?

High School but didn’t start dating until after college

When did you know they were the one?

On our first long getaway to Napa, CA. We were at a small vineyard on spring mountain (gorgeous views), early to our tour-the owner told us to head to the top for the best view. While up there, Nick turned to me and said “we’re going to get married here someday..”

Sure enough! 3 years later we got married in Napa valley 🙂

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He’s incredibly smart yet constantly seeks new growth and knowledge
He’s so kind
And there’s a love (deep down) for his stubbornness

Who proposed and how?

Nick planned a surprise vacation to Seattle, a city we’d never been to. The beach is my favourite place to be, so he brought me to a private little beach. It had been raining all morning, but cleared up just as we arrived and the sun came out. We were walking along the beach and he popped the question!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I chose penny! She had just came out about a week before. I had my eye on several MWL dresses that I couldn’t wait to try on. Luckily, I had an appointment set at Everthine Bridal with my mom and sister (only 2 due to covid) right before I was supposed to move across country, and they posted two days before they had just gotten penny in! I had shown my mom and sisters the night before saying she might be it. I tried her on first and fell in LOVE! I only tried on 7 dresses total, but knew she was the dress for me!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Everyone says to slow down and absorb everything and it’s so true! It flies by. Honestly, having a destination, 35 person wedding was perfect! I had the time and opportunity to mingle, dance, and spend time with everyone.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Nick is a very private person, so we did a first look and read personal vows to each other then. It was a perfect moment right before the ceremony!

Any standout vendors?

Willow and Ben photography. Hands down my wedding would not have been the perfect day it was, if it weren’t for Ben. We owe him everything! And his photos are beautiful!
