How did you meet?

My husband and I met through work!

When did you know they were the one?

I knew he was the one early on. Everything was easy and I could tell that we complemented each other in the best ways.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His kindness, his positive outlook on life and how he celebrates the little things!

Who proposed and how?

My husband James proposed at the barn. Horses have always been a huge part of my life, so it was special being able to celebrate that milestone there.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Funny enough, when I booked my appointment at MWL’s stockist Bride KC, I had already fallen in love with a MWL design, but it was not the same dress I would end up with! During my appointment the stylist brought in Carla. The second I slipped her on I knew she was the one! The bone underlay and delicate details are truly one of a kind!

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

Looking out into the crowd after we said ‘I do’ and seeing all of the smiling faces of our dearest loved ones and friends!

What surprised you most at or about your wedding?

How much freaking fun it would be! We soaked in every single moment and truly CELEBRATED!

What advice would you tell other brides?

This is YOUR day and there is no rulebook! Let you and your partner’s personalities shine through in all the details. This will make it memorable for you and your guests!

What did you do differently?

We wanted to have some fun with our cocktail hour, so for apps we went with a charcuterie table! Not only were our guests raving about how yummy it was, but it was truly a piece of artwork.
